Dangers of Vaping – Are They Much like Conventional Cigarettes?
The medical dangers of vaping aren’t known at all. Only a very small number of people that openly admit to vaporing cannabis are in fact carrying it out for medicinal reasons, and there are practically no studies to support the theory that vaporizing cannabis is any more or less safe than smoking cigarettes. Smoking cannabis can be harmful to your health. But it’s really not clear just how much worse it’s going to be weighed against puffing tobacco.
One thing is certain: Vaping cannabis carries just as many dangers as smoking it. Just about everybody who starts vaporizing cannabis will probably eventually end up lighting up a cigarette someplace else. Electronic cigarettes contain a selection of dangerous chemicals that have nothing at all to do with either smoking cannabis or smoking tobacco. In this study, lead author Dr. Robin Carhart evaluated the effects of two different types of cannabis in your body on test subjects. One band of subjects repeatedly smoked cannabis over two days, while another group only applied to Cigs. After two days, the test subjects who had smoked cannabis significantly increased their blood circulation pressure levels, had an increased heartrate, and suffered from more serious headaches.
The dangers of Vaporizing cannabis aren’t just limited by those who are deploying it recreationally either. Children are now showing a heightened interest in trying Vaporized cannabis aswell, according to a study published in May 2021 in the peer-reviewed Journal of Adolescent Health. This study was done by the National Institute of Mental Health, that is a government agency within the united states Department of Education. Researchers examined the smoking behaviors of twenty-three children, including ten who smoked cigarettes regularly and fifteen who did not smoke at all. It had been found that even children who have been only occasional marijuana smokers were willing to try vaporizing cannabis. Interestingly, this study didn’t look at the long-term ramifications of E-Cigs on these children’s long-term smoking habits, only their short-term ones.
Overall, it appears that the dangers of E-Cigs are virtually exactly what you might expect from combustible using tobacco. The only real difference is that rather than inhaling toxic gases, smoke is created in an E-Cig, rather than blowing out of a traditional cigarette. The largest dangers of E-Cigs are from vaporizing toxins in your lungs rather than from actual combustion. Even yet in this case, though, the dangers of E-Cigs are still considerably less than cigarettes, especially considering that teens have already demonstrated a massive interest in tinkering with vaporized foods, candy, and chocolate.
